Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) plea to relocate the Under-19 Asia Cup has been accepted, after it was learnt that the tournament has been shifted from India to Malaysia.

As per reports, India was scheduled to host the Under-19 Asia Cup in November, however, PCB pressed for the relocation of the tournament at Asian Cricket Council (ACC).

Earlier, it was reported that the matter was to be discussed at the ACC meeting.

"We will discuss this matter in the ACC meeting in Colombo on Saturday and we think that the event can be held at any other secure venue outside India and Pakistan," Najam Sethi, has stated, quoted AFP.

Meanwhile, the PCB has also initiated legal action against India for not honouring a deal under which the two countries were set to play six senior series between 2014-2023.

The cricket board has stated it has allocated one billion rupees for the legal battle.

"The case will soon be filed with the ICC (International Cricket Council) dispute committee," said former PCB chief Shaharyar Khan.
