Pakistan’s former fast bowler Aaqib Javed, would celebrate his 45th birthday today.
The Sheikhupura born medium fast bowler played a vital role in Pakistan historic win at the 1992, World Cup. Pakistani cricket lovers would be please to know that Javed is the only bowler to take an all-lbw hat-trick in international cricket.
Javed, went on to achieve this feat against arch rival India, at Sharjah in 1991. He is the sixth Pakistani bowler to achieve the feat, others including Jalal-ul-din, Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Saqlain Mushatq, and Muhammad Sami.
Javed, went on to represent Pakistan in 22 Tests and 163 ODIs, claimed 54 and 182 wickets, respectively.
