Pakistan opening batsman Azhar Ali, has jumped up two places to take up sixth slot in batting, in the latest MRF Tyres ICC Test Player Rankings announced on Tuesday.

Ali with 769 points with an average of 46.86, replace South Africa’s wicket keeper batsman Quinton De Kock.

Meanwhile, England all-rounder Ben Stokes has moved up to take career-best positions in both batting and bowling, in the latest Rankings after a man of the match  performance in the third Test against South Africa at The Oval, England went on to win the match by 239 runs on Monday to take a 2-1 lead in the four-match series.

Stokes has moved up 12 places to joint-25th position in the rankings for batsmen with scores of 112 and 31, while also gaining two places to reach 19th position in the list for bowlers after grabbing one for 26 and two for 51.

In the bowling department, leg spinner Yasir Shah was the only bowler from Pakistan to make into the top 20, in the latest ranking for bowling. Shah is placed at 14th slot with 698 points in the kitty.
