National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has chalked out a plan to further diversify President's Rozgar Scheme by launching few new products in order to facilitate the borrowers, a spokesman of National Bank of Pakistan said here on Thursday. He said NBP would provide more products to the borrowers of President's Rozgar Scheme within next few months in collaboration with Ministry of Finance.
Currently the scheme has been suspended temporarily due to certain complaints about the quality of auto rickshaws being provided under the scheme. The relevant company has been asked to improve the quality of auto rickshaws and further expand their distribution network, he said.
There are 1,400 branches of NBP and 29 regional offices in the country. NBP would open a branch in Saudi Arabia within next couple of months, he said. It is pertinent to mention here that the loans from Rs 15,000 to Rs 150,000 are being given by National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) to the unemployed youth.
