Pakistan fast bowler Muhammad Amir, finally showed the word why he remains the most talked about thing in cricket, after he battered the mighty Indian batting line.

Amir, whose career was nearly ended after he received a ban and jail sentence for his involvement in a spot-fixing scan during a 2010 Test at Lord's, was in superb form against ach rivals India after a back spasm forced him out of the semi-final win over England.

The fast bowler picked up three important wickets, first dismantling the Indian opening pair of Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma, and then claiming the all important wicket of Indian skipper Virat Kohli on 5.

"It says a lot about his personality ... but what I do know is that Mohammad Amir is a big-match player," said Arthur, while adressing media at the post match conference.

Kohli, himself admitted India had been outplayed, and praised Pakistan for their game.

"They made us make those mistakes with the way they were bowling, creating that pressure," he said.

"In the end ... you have to accept and admire sometimes the skill of the opposition."
