Portugal’s superstar striker Cristiano Ronaldo has been left out of Real Madrid’s new kit launch video on Instagram — sparking speculation he could leave the club this summer.

Odds on the 32-year-old returning to Manchester United plummeted after it was announced he had been charged with defrauding the Spanish government of £13million in unpaid tax.

The likes of Toni Kroos, Marcelo, Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Lucas Vazquez featured on Real Madrid’s video to promote their new kit.

But Ronaldo was nowhere to be seen.

The new design is white with blue trim and looks a little like their old training top.

And, from a distance, could even be mistaken for a Marseille shirt.

Despite what could prove to a problematic summer, Ronaldo enjoyed one of his best years in football.

He helped Real Madrid win La Liga and the Champions League — which is something the club hadn’t achieved for 59 years.

Ronaldo is currently in Russia with the Portugal squad as they look to win the Confederations Cup in their first-ever appearance.
