During Ramadan, there are many things that you can do to enhance the strength of your faith, stay healthy, and participate in welfare activities.

This is the time to reflect on your inner self, and to identify areas calling for change. We all make mistakes and develop bad habits. Do you tend to speak a lot about other people? Tell white lies when it is just as easy to speak the truth? Turn your eyes when you should lower your gaze? Become angry quickly? Regularly sleep through Fajr prayer? Be honest with yourself, and strive to make just one change during this month. Don't overwhelm yourself with trying to change everything at once, as it will be much harder to maintain. The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) advised us that small improvements, done consistently, are better than large but unsuccessful attempts. So start with one change, and then move on from there.

Follow this to-do list to make the most of the holy month!

1. Read Quran daily

2. Give extra charity

3. Do not engage in unnecessary talk

4. Ask Allah to forgive all Muslims

5. Let us make sure that we don't miss our Fajr prayer and pray all the other prayers on time.

6. Let us ensure that we will not hurt anyone and control our anger in all situations

7. Engage in Dua and remembrance of Allah
