A complaint has been filed at the KK Nagar Police Station, as per Indian media reports.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, T.Nagar, P. Saravanan said, "Our teams traced her today and she is normal." Ever since she went missing, Gaanam’s mobile phone had also been switched off, India today reported.

On Friday night when she neither reached home nor reached her office, it raised alarm and her aunt with whom she was living in an apartment lodged a police complaint about her missing. Ms. Nair left for work on her two-wheeler.

She lives with relatives; her father is based in Delhi and her mother died a few years ago.

Her family has placed a 'missing person' advertisement in the newspapers, and Gaanam's friend launched a social media campaign for information on her whereabouts. However, Nair still hasn't been found.

Before her disappearance, Nair was last seen on her way to work, travelling from Virugambakkam to Nungambakkam on a black Activa early on the morning of 26 May. The police are now examining CCTV footage in the hopes of uncovering a clue, News18 reported.

Gaanam Nair who had gone missing on Friday has returned home on Monday. Gaanam is reportedly suffering from depression and is going through some relationship issues.
