MULTAN: Police has arrested three outlaws including a head constable of Shah Rukan-e-Alam police for selling official weapons.

According to police sources here on Saturday, a police party was on routine patrolling on Friday night near Noon Chowk in premises of Shah Rukan-e-Alam police station when they stopped two suspicious cars coming from the Gulistan Chowk side.

During search the police recovered official weapons of police department and arrested two outlaws--Amir and Allah Bakhash. The arrested outlaws informed that they used to purchase official weapons from head constable Taj Muhammad of Shah Rukan-e-Alam police and sell outside the city.

The Shah Rukan-e-Alam police registered the case against them and also arrested head constable Taj Muhammad. Further investigation are in progress, sources added.
