ISLAMABAD: Parliamentarians on Friday termed the federal 2017-18 as people-friendly and said that was a gift by PML-N for farmers and the government servants.

Talking to media outside the Parliament House, Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanvir Hussain expressed the confidence that the new measures announced in the budget would give necessary boost to all field of life.

He said PML-N government tried its level best to facilitate the people of the country in various aspects.

Minister of State for Education and Interior, Eng Muhammad Baligh-Ur-Rehman said that PML-N government has fulfilled its promises of provision of relief to the masses.

He said that presentation of a public-friendly budget was a historic achievement of PML-N as unprecedented incentives were offered in the federal budget.

PML-N MNA Syed Javed Ali Shah said that none of the previous governments had presented such an exemplary budget like PML-N.

PML-N MNA Begum Parveen Masood Bhatti said the government current budget would benefit all segments of society.

She said reduction in the prices of agri inputs and power tariff for tube wells will result in prosperity of farmers.
