Croatia striker Mandzukic has been an integral part of Massimiliano Allegri's side since joining the club from Atletico Madrid in 2015.

The 31-year-old's current deal was set to end in 2019 but Juventus announced on Thursday: "Mario is one of the symbols of this team, and he will be for even longer.

"The Croatian striker has signed a one-year's contract extension that will see him remain at Juventus until 2020."

In 84 appearances for Juventus, Mandzukic has scored 23 goals in all competitions, helping Juve to a record sixth consecutive scudetto, a record third league and Cup double and a place in the June 3 Champions League final against Real Madrid in Cardiff.
