KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed lower on Thursday having 50956.60 points with a negative change of 554.81 and volume of 69,286,990 shares.

High and Low were 51570.29 and 50875.11 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 302,127,130 shares with 405 total traded companies out of which 182 were up 205 were down and 18 were unchanged.

TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 41,269,000 shares. It was followed by COMMERCIAL BANKS with a total traded volume of 37,543,600 shares.

The three top traded companies were WorldCall Telecom with a volume of 32,463,000 and price per share of 3.38 (0.18), Engro Polymer with a volume 15,117,500 of price per share of 31.10 (0.29), Silk Bank Ltd with a volume 14,197,500 of price per share of 1.87 (0.12).

The top three advancers were Nestle Pakistan with price per share 10000.00 (350.00), ICI Pakistan with price per share of 1163.31 (52.31) and Pak TobaccoXD share of 1540.00 (44.00).

The top three decliners were Sapphire FiberXD with price per share of 1265.00 (61.68), Unilever Foods with price per share of 6162.00 (38.00) and Packages Ltd.XD per share of 841.59 (25.33).
