11 May, 2017

ATC-I Judge Sajjad Ahmad passed the orders while hearing the cases.

Arsalan Javed, had got a case registered with Shalimar police in 2015 against Altaf Hussain after he, during a telephonic address to his workers, used objectionable language not only against state institutions but also against Pakistan.

Malik Aftab had also got registered a case with Old Anarkali police against Altaf Hussain on similar charges.

The complainants through their counsel pleaded that Altaf Hussain had been involved in inciting people against the country. The petitioners sought a trial of Altaf Hussain and conviction accordingly.

The investigating officers told the court that service of the earlier summons could not be made as the respondent had been living abroad.

At this, the court issued non-bailable warrants for the arrest of Altaf Hussain and adjourned further hearing.
