BRIDGETOWN: Pakistan Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq has yet again made way in the records book as he become the only batsman in the history to have three scores of 99 in Test cricket.

The 42-year-old skipper has now witnessed three occasions where he fell prey to the infamous nervous nineties. Misbah achieved this unwanted yet unique feat in the back-to-back Tests against West Indies.

He missed out the hundred by a run in the first innings of the 1st Test when last man Mohammad Abbas got out on the other end.

the skipper again missed reaching the threee digits by a single run in the first innings of the 2nd Test, when he walk back to the pavillion was introspection as how Jason Holder delivery rose up and hit his gloves while he tried to move his bat away.

Misbah, who was in two minds, decided to pull out his bat at the last moment. But, was too late as the ball took his glove and flew to third slip, where he was caught by Shai Hope.

Apart from the above-mentioned record Misbah, also shares a record of remaining not out on 99, only six players have managed to achieve this feat including England's legendry batsman Geoffrey Boycott and Andre Hall of South Africa in Test cricket.

Meanwhile, Pakistan is eyeing to win the Test series as it sits at a dominating position in the second Test. West Indies were 40 for the loss of one wicket in their second inning, and trailed by 41 runs.
