England’s Bopara keen to visit Pakistan

England all rounder Ravi Bopara would be visiting Pakistan in the ‘hear future’ for charity work.

Bopara who plays for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Karachi Kings said he “intend to travel to Karachi and do some charity work in the near future. The idea is to help the kids there through playing cricket and raising funds and basically to help the community and the children there in any way I can,” quoted PakPassion.net.

The English all rounder, was also an integral part of the PSL franchise Karachi Kings has no issues with visiting Pakistan for the PSL final held in Lahore. However, unfortunately his side didn’t reach to that stage.

“I would have had no qualms about travelling to Pakistan if we had made it to the final. Unfortunately we didn't reach the final, but I would have no problems travelling to Lahore to play in the final”.

“Of course, playing a PSL final or matches in future there one day would be a lovely experience as well,” he added.

Fellow Englishmen Kevin Pietersen, Luke Wright and Tymal Mills, pulled out of the tournament after their side Quetta Gladiators reached the finals, owing to security issues.

Peshawar Zalmis emerged as the eventual winner of the tournament.
