'Comments against ex-army chief have nothing to do with PTI'

PTI leader clarified in a tweet that, the comments which he made against ex-army chief in an interview to Geo News, were his personal views and it had nothing to do with Imran Khan’s party.

He added, “I have not accused General Kayani of anything but asked him for clarification of insinuations levelled against him in a national newspaper.”

Earlier, Naeem-ul-Haq said in the interview that former military chief {Kayani} with help from the USA and Saudi Arabia engineered the general election in 2013 in favour of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

PML-N leader and State Minister for Information Maryam Aurangzeb, in response to PTI’s allegations said the "statement by PTI information secretary is irresponsible and he should apologies for that".

The minister said Imran Khan’s party, for the sake of keeping its inability out of sight, has made it a routine to insult people, level allegations and use foul language against them.
