Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 85,370 tonnes of cargo including 81,579 tonnes import, 3,791 tonnes export cargo and 1,577 containers during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Tuesday.
The cargo comprised of 42,370 tonnes dry cargo including 12,835 tonnes general cargo; 6,181 tonnes sugar; 12,261 tonnes fertiliser; 1,234 tonnes cement; 5,930 tonnes scrap; 3,929 tonnes rock phosphate and 43,000 tonnes oil/Liquid cargo.
Five ships namely Yang Jiang He, Atlantic Forest, Ilse Wulff, Wan Hai 303, and Xiang Rui Men sailed out to sea during the report period.
One vessel Nicolas S is currently at the berths.
Two ships namely Diamond Progress and MT Shalamar expected to sail on Tuesday.
Three vessels viz Kota Mesra, Iran Sattari and Nil due to arrive on Tuesday, while nine ships namely MT Johar, Corinthiakos, Sinar Bontang, China Star, Satha Bhum, Hyundai Advance, Oel Aishwarya, YM Energy and Leopard are due to arrive on Wednesday.
One ship Thor Energy is due to arrive on Thursday.

The cargo comprised of 31,420 tonnes diesel oil; 8,686 tonnes edible oil; 4,870 tonnes sugar; 1,524 tonnes rice; 3,209 tonnes wheat; 10,027 tonnes iron ore and 37,927 tonnes containerised cargo.
Four ships namely CV Sima Paya, CV Xiang Wan, CV Sealand Independence and M.T. Trust Spirit sailed out to sea during report period, while two more ships namely MV Oversea Herriette and MT Opal are expected to sail on Tuesday.
A total of eight vessels viz Yanaseni, Qem Star, Nedlloyd Muscat, MSC Camille, Density-1, Vema Ocean, Marblue and Worada Naree are currently at the outer anchorage.
Four ships namely CV Nedlloyd Muscat, MT Yanaseni, MT Density-1 and MV Worada Naree due to take berths on Tuesday.
Three vessels viz CV Asian Trader, CV CMA CGM Kingston and CV Mega-1 due to arrive on Wednesday, while two more ships namely CV Al-Manakh and MT Al-Maqwa with containers and diesel oil are due to arrive on Thursday.
