Rs 210mn approved for upgradation of DHQ Hospital, rural health centres

DG KHAN: Over Rs 210 million funds would be spent for upgradation of DHQ Hospital Kot Addu and three rural health centres.

Divisional development party led by Commissioner DG Khan Division Muhammad Yasrab gave approval of the development projects on Friday.

The Commissioner directed to construct garage for ambulance at each rural health centre, room for guards, minimum six CCTV cameras to monitor indoor and outdoor activities and fully equip the health centres with latest medical facilities.

It was told the meeting that 20 bedded children ward, cardiac ward of 16 beds and dialysis centre would be constructed at the DHQ Hospital Kot Addu. Rs 100 million would be spent on construction work besides purchase of medical equipments and upgradation of hospital.

The development projects would be completed within one year.
