Romanian oil firm keen to revive links

A leading Romanian private engineering and technical services supply company - Petroconsultant (Ploiesti) - has showed interest in reviving its traditional business links with Pakistan.
According to Pakistan Embassy sources in Romania, company's Managing Director Mircea Laba said this while talking to Pakistan Ambassador Sanaullah here on Friday.
Laba said that his company, which primarily focused on oil and gas sector, chemical and petrochemical plants, civil and industrial constructions was actively monitoring developments in Pakistan on regular basis. The plans of the government presented interesting and challenging opportunities, he added.
Laba made specific mention of plans to develop a refinery in Gwadar, and said his company would welcome any opportunity to be associated with the project.
