Movie 'DA VINCI CODE banned

Federal Minister for Culture Dr G.G. Jamal said on Saturday that the government has banned the controversial movie `THE DA VINCI CODE' for containing blasphemous material on Jesus Christ. "Islam teaches us to respect all the Prophets of Allah Almighty and degradation of any Prophet is tantamount to defamation of the rest," the minister told APP.
Dr Jamal said the film hurt the feelings of Christians and Muslims. "We in Pakistan are brothers to each other."
