The opening of the exhibition and launch of the book, "The Friends of God: Sufi saints in Islam; popular poster art from Pakistan," by Dr Jurgen Wasim Frembgen will be held here on April 19.
The event is being organised jointly by the Goethe Institute and the Oxford University Press (OUP), Pakistan. Dr Medhi Raza Shah Subzwari, Sajjada Nashin, Qalandar Lal Shahbaz, Sehwan Sharif, will be the chief guest on the occasion, says an announcement of the OUP.
He will also present the keynote address on this occasion and inaugurate the poster exhibition.
The sale as well as the signing of the book by the author is also the part of the programme. The event will be held at the Goethe Institute, Bruton Road, Civil Lines, here.
