MOSCOW: Russia's industrial output fell 0.8 percent in September compared with a year ago but was up 1.8 percent in month-on-month terms, the statistics service said on Monday.

The annual change was below the lowest prediction of analysts polled by Reuters. On average the analysts expected a 0.6 percent increase in output year-on-year.
