Pakistan wants peace in world: Durrani

Minister of State for Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs Muhammad Ali Durrani has said Pakistan wants peace and was against terrorism and extremism all over the world.
Talking in a PTV programme, he said Pakistan has given importance and priority to Palestine and long-standing Kashmir issues keeping in view the ground realities and principles. He said that West should address the root causes of hatred and extremism and evolve a strategy for peace and prosperity in the region.
The recent meeting between Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri with his Israeli counterpart was held with consent and consultation of the other countries. Pakistan wants to resolve all issues amicably through dialogue, he added.
He lauded President General Pervez Musharraf's vision of 'Enlightened Moderation', economic policies and handling crucial international issue in the world.
Durrani said Pakistan always supported Palestinians. He admired the sacrifices of the Palestinian people for their noble cause.
