Road manners

Wajid Qazi has given a strange civil military twist to my letter of 26th Aug, and lambaste the army for being above the law and violating the traffic rules blatantly. His letter gives the impression that I praised the MP for thrashing a 'civilian' boy and for their ignoring similar traffic violations by the army personnel and their wards. I do not know where did he get such an impression from.
In my letter I had made no such distinction between the army and the civilians.
As a matter of fact I had blamed all "the low stock nouveau riche or the mighty bureaucrats and the high officials," and, I think 'high officials' include both civil and military.
Why must the like of Qazi Sahib jump upon any imagined situation to widen the gulf between the civil and the military.
