'Made in India' exhibition to open on November 10'

A total of 150 Indian companies have confirmed their participation in "Made in India" exhibition scheduled to be held from November 10 to 16 in Lahore.Sources at the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) said that President Pervez Musharraf is likely to inaugurate the exhibition.
This is the first exhibition of Indian goods to be held on the soil of Pakistan. The FPCCI expected that the number of participation might rise to 200 or more.
The FPCCI and The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) are jointly organising the exhibition. F.C. College ground has been selected for holding the exhibition. Goods will be transported from India to Pakistan through Wagha border. Participants in the exhibition have the permission of spot sale of goods.
Last year, "Made in Pakistan" exhibition was held in India in which more than 150 Pakistani companies participated in the exhibition which was attended by a large number of visitors besides, representatives of business and trade community to witness Pak products.
After holding 'Made in Pakistan' exhibition in India, Indian side was pressing hard to allow holding exhibition of 'Made in India' in Pakistan.
