Federal Minister for Law, Justice and Human Rights, Muhammad Wasi Zafar stated on Tuesday that the newspapers reported the Karachi Airport incident in a scandalising manner, without ascertaining actual facts.
He said that now-a-days the newspapers are propagating against him and his son and are publishing baseless news stories without investigation/confirmation of the facts.
"After publishing the incident no person from media bothered to talk to me about the said incident even after passage of two days nor anyone asked from the involved person namely Mujeeb about the matter. As a matter of principle it was necessary to confirm the facts from the concerned parties before publishing stories", the minister said.
