MOSCOW: Russian President Vladimir Putin will oversee on Wednesday the launch of the Vostochno-Messoyakha oilfield, jointly developed by Rosneft and Gazprom Neft, the Kremlin said in a statement on Tuesday. The field is Russia's northernmost onland oilfield.

The reserves of the field and the adjacent Zapadno-Messoyakha are over 470 million tonnes of oil and 180 billion cubic metres of gas.
