US MIDDAY: wheat higher on spillover trading

Wheat futures at the Chicago Board of Trade were higher at mid-morning on Tuesday on inter-market spreading and spillover from a firm trend in soybeans and corn, traders said. As of 11:40 am CDT (1640 GMT), September wheat was up 2-1/4 cents at $3.32-3/4 per bushel, with deferred months up 2 to 4-1/2 cents.
Buy stops hit in September at $3.34-1/2. Man Financial was an early buyer of September contracts, traders said.
