Jupiter Telecommunications Co Ltd, Japan's biggest cable TV company, is likely to post a 14 percent year-on-year rise in group net profit for the six months ended June 30, the Nihon Keizai business daily said on Thursday.
The company, 54-percent owned by a venture set up by US cable TV magnate John Malone's Liberty Media International Inc, likely earned around 9 billion yen ($80.04 million) in the period, accounting for 64 percent of its full-year forecast of 14 billion yen, the report said.
The company is scheduled to announce its first-half results on July 28.
