Lawyers get free treatment

In pursuance of the directives of Punjab Chief Minister, Mayo Hospital has started providing free medical facilities to lawyers community. Talking to a delegation of social organisations and lawyers, Medical Superintendent of Mayo Hospital Dr Fayyaz Ahmed Ranjha said here on Saturday that VIP culture has been completely eliminated from the hospital and a system has been started under which people will not have to borrow money for their treatment.
He told the delegation that over 100 operations are being performed daily free of cost, adding free medical facility was also being provided in other departments of the hospital. With the passage of time, the medical facilities in the hospital would be further improved so that people could take maximum benefit from it.
