The ministry of commerce is negotiating a free trade agreement (FTA) with Malaysia. The next meeting at the technical level will be held at Kuala Lumpur from 18-20 July 2005, where early harvest programme for immediate tariff reductions/elimination will be discussed.
Ministry of commerce has convened a meeting with FPCCI, chamber of commerce and trade associations on July 13, 2005 to discuss the wish list of Pakistan for the early harvest programme. The exporters may convey the items of export interest of Pakistan to Malaysia through the chamber of commerce or e-mail/fax them to the ministry.-PR
