05 Jul, 2005

Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources, Amanullah Khan Jadoon, has urged the people to elect sincere and honest candidates in the next local bodies polls so that their problems could be solved at their doorstep. Addressing a public meeting in union council Rattan Kalaan, he said people should beware of those who looted and plundered the national wealth and failed to deliver.
Amanullah Khan Jadoon said that people of remote and far-flung areas were deliberately kept deprived of basic amenities and necessities of life during the previous tenures of Peoples Party and Muslim League Nawaz.
"People should hold accountable all those in the next local bodies polls through ballot and desists from election those who had breached their trust in the past".
He said that the present government was committed to develop the least developed areas of the country and it was attaching top priority to electrify villages and supply gas to all areas without any discrimination.
