Five killed, 14 injured as coach turns turtle

At least five passengers were killed and 14 other injured when a passenger coach coming from Gwadar to Karachi overturned at the Coastal Highway near Ormara. The accident took place at 02.00 am on Monday. The reports suggested that accident took place when the coach overturned while cutting sharp turn on the hilly terrain at Huzi, 250km from Karachi.
Five of the total 38 passengers in the coach died on the spot, while 20 others were injured, 14 of them serious, Edhi information bureau told.
The Edhi bureau said names of dead could not be ascertained. Three bodies including a woman and 14 injured were brought to the Civil Hospital after seven hours. The names of injured are Mussadiq, Zakir, Ubaid, Daulat, Sher Ali, Muhammad, Fazal, Ali Murad, Asif, Waheed, Saleem, Mehboob, Muhammad Anwar and Haji Char Shumbay.
Passengers of other coaches broke the glasses of the ill-fated vehicle to get the injured and dead out.
