Services Hospital Emergency Ward being expanded

On the directions of Chief Minister Punjab, Trauma Center/Emergency Ward of the Services Hospital is being expanded for the provision of state-of-the-art medical facilities to the patients at a cost of Rs 25 million. Three more operation theatres are under construction and on the completion a 120-bed emergency ward will be available to the people for emergency medical treatment facilities.
MS Services Hospital Dr Riaz Ahmed Chaudhry said that before the renovation/construction and expansion work of the Trauma Center only two operation theatres were available in the emergency ward.
However, emergency ward is being expanded and facilities of 16-Slice C.T Scan machine and digital x-ray will be available besides CCU, ICU, Pulmonology, Blood bank and latest pathological lab facilities.
He further said that emergency would be the centrally air-conditioned and active staff would be available 24 hours for emergency medical services.
