Musharraf's achievements lauded

State Minister for Sports, Culture, and Youth Affairs Mohammad Ali Durrani said here on Saturday that President Pervez Musharraf has vowed to provide equal opportunities to all. Addressing a public gathering at the "President Musharraf Zindabad Convention" organised by federation of G-6 residents, he said, Pakistan has achieved a respectable position in the world due to initiatives of President Pervez Musharraf.
The minister said under the President's vision, more money would be spent to give relief to common man. He said youths are being imparted technical training to make them productive.
Durrani said science and technical education was imperative for the Muslim Ummah so as to compete with the rest of the world.
He praised residents of G-6 for holding the convention and assured them of basic rights protection.
Senator Tahira Latif, PML labour wing president Faqir Hussain Bukhari, PML federal capital president Dr M. Amjad, PML federal capital senior vice president Syed Nisar Shah and others also spoke on the occasion.-PR
