Higher trend was seen on the forward cottonseed oilcake market on Monday as leading buyers jumped for the forward buying, dealers said. The July vaida commenced with no change at Rs 439.40. In the process of trading, it gained 40 paisa to be day's best at Rs 439.80. Later it lost 80 paisa to be day's bottom at Rs 439.00 and closed at Rs 439.70.
The December vaida opened unchanged at Rs 418.00 and that proved to be day's lowest at the same level, dealers said. During the day, it picked up Rs 1.60 to be day's highest at Rs 419.60 and closing was seen at Rs 419.50.
