Bears domination continues on ISE

Bears continued to stay in the driving seat at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities witnessed across the board losses with decrease in index. ISE Network Index showed a decrease of 336.85 points as the rate-based indicator moved from 11,909.89 to 11,573,.54 points. The overall turnover amounted to 40,88,00 shares as compared to previous volume of 22,55,500 shares. Total 123 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (111) closed in negative territory, 10 showed plus signs whereas two companies remained pegged to their overnight levels.
The turnover of PTCL was 262,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 1,562,000 shares. The volume of OGDCL was 94,900 shares as compared to previous volume of 544,800 shares. The volume of PSO was 18,200 shares as compared to previous volume of 70,600 shares.
