Bears stage comeback on ISE

Equities witnessed broad-based erosion at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where bears snatched the floor from the bulls amid decrease in index. ISE Network Index was down by 295.25 points as the price-based indicator moved from 12,291.86 to 11,996.61 points. The overall turnover amounted to 1,918,900 shares as compared to previous volume of 1,488,600 shares. Total 137 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (110) closed in negative territory, 27 showed plus signs.
The turnover of PTCL was 1,299,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 830,000 shares. The volume of OGDCL was 444,100 shares as compared to previous turnover of 432,900 shares. The volume of PSO was 81,300 shares as compared to previous turnover of 109,800 shares.
