Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 78,070 tonnes of cargo including 60,143 tonnes import and 17,927 tonnes export cargo including 3,630 containers during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Saturday. The cargo comprised of 70,078 tonnes dry cargo including 49,367 tonnes general cargo; 2,144 tonnes rice; 515 tonnes cement; 5,262 tonnes fertiliser; 12,790 tonnes coal and 7,992 tonnes oil/Liquid cargo. Four ships namely YM Faha, Fearless, Kota Merdesa and Lalazar sailed out to sea during the report period. Eight vessels viz Eibi Oldendroff, Kota Merdesa, Kota Teraju, Wan Hai-267, Heroic Ace, Sargodha, Iran Baabael and Al Rabab are currently at the berths. Two ships namely Wan Hai-267 and Bow Patros expected to sail on Saturday, while four vessels viz Eibi Oldendroff, Kota Teraju, Nil and Iron Butterfly are expected to sail on Sunday.
Six vessels viz MT Shalamar, Andino Park, Thor Captain, Bunga Delima, Yuan Pingsea and Ceren Urkmiz due to arrive on Saturday, while three ships namely Dong He, Scan Arctic and Annergret are due to arrive on Sunday.
Three ships namely Nur Yanbu, Ponl Veracruz and BBC Anglia are due to arrive on Monday.

The cargo comprised of 8,514 tonnes seeds; 18,132 tonnes diesel oil; 4,016 tonnes coal; 1,538 tonnes fertiliser and 19,380 tonnes containerised cargo.
Three vessels viz MT Keefan, MV Ulysses and CV Ville de Mars sailed out to sea during last 24 hours, while another ship MV Clipper Gem is expected to sail on Saturday.
Three vessels viz Min Noble, Tai Hua Hai and Annegret are currently at the outer anchorage.
Four ships namely CV Merkur Beach, Min Noble, Tai Hua Hai and Annegret due to take berths on Saturday.
Two vessels viz MT Olympic and Nur Yanbu with edible oil and chemicals due to arrive on Saturday, while three more ships namely CV MSC Socotra, P&O Nedlloyd Singapore and MV Nikos with containers and iron ore are due to arrive on Sunday.
