Palestinian ambassador calls on Sindh governor

The Palestinian Ambassador in Pakistan Ahmed Razaq Al-Salman called on Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan at Governor House on Tuesday. On the occasion matters of mutual interest came under discussion and mention was made about the personality and the struggle waged by the great Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat.
Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad reiterated Pakistan's stand towards Palestine and said President Pervez Musharraf had very ably highlighted it at international forums.
He said particularly during his recent visits, the President effectively spotlighted the issue of Palestine. He expressed solidarity with the people of Palestine and assured of all co-operation.
Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad said Yasser Arafat was the symbol of struggle and his services cannot be forgotten ever. The Palestinian Ambassador on behalf of his people and leadership, expressed gratitude to President Pervez Musharraf for his efforts and co-operation towards the struggle waged by great Palestinian leader.
