MANCHESTER: Pakistan were 119 for eight in reply to England's first innings 589 for eight declared, a deficit of 470 runs, at lunch on the third day of the second Test at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Misbah-ul-Haq, the Pakistan captain, was 22 not out after Yasir Shah was out for one to what became the last ball before lunch.

Pakistan lead the four-match series 1-0 after their 75-run win in the first Test at Lord's last week.
