Addressing a ceremony at Government General Hospital Samanabad held under the aegis of Patient Welfare Society, he said that hospital was being expanded from 50 beds to 250 beds and after completion of the project it would get the status of DHQ hospital. He said that all modern healthcare facilities would be ensured in the hospital with the cooperation of philanthropists.
He said that special measures were being taken for appointment of specialist doctors, availability of medicine and provision of all medical equipments at government hospitals.
The minister appreciated the performance of the hospital where treatment was being provided to people free of cost. He also lauded the role of patient welfare society in development of the hospital.
