KARACHI: M.T White Purl carry 6,700 tonnes LPG was allotted berth at Engro Vopak on Sunday.

In the meantime five move ships C.V Aanke, C.V MSC Victoria, C.V Al-Khar, M.V Kiran Antolia and M.T Okyroe with containers coal and furnace oil also got anchored at outer anchorage of Port Qasim.

Berth occupancy was observed at the port at 40% on Sunday where a total of six ships namely C.V Athens, MV Trans Shaghai, M.V Ocean Prince, M,T White Purl, M.T Brzo and M.T Heng Xing were occupied PQA berths to load/offload containers, canola seeds, soya bean seeds, LPG furnace oil and palm oil respectively during last 24 hours.

A Cargo volume during last 24 hours stood at 104,485 tonnes comprising 79,785 tonnes import cargo and 24,700 tonnes export cargo inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 1,580 containers (TEUs) (@*) imports TUEs & 1,300 TUEs exports) was handled at the prot during last 24 hours.

LPG carrier white purl sailed out to sea on Monday morning while three more ships C.V Athens, M.T Heng Xing and M.T Brizo are expected to sail on sameday afternoon.

Five ships C.V Aanka, C.V MSC Victoria, C.V E.R Yoko Hama, C.V Al-Kharj and M.T UACC Ibn Sina carrying containers and diesel oil are expected to take berths at QICT and FOTCO respectively on Monday, while TG Poseidon is due to arrive at Port Qasim on same day and two more shops C.V Maersk stockholm and C.V CMA CGM Thames are due arrive on Tuesday.
