According to an announcement here on Friday, all security arrangements will be supervised by the ASP Headquarters Suhai Aziz while all Deputy Superintendents of Police and Station House Officers have been asked to make closed contact with the management of Imambargahs and mourning organizations for making adequate security arrangements at Imambargahs and other places from where Majalis will be held and mourning processions will be taken out.
All DSPs and SHOs will remain present in their respective jurisdictions from today till further orders and carry out snap checking and patrolling in their areas.
Besides, additional police force have been deployed at all external and internal routes with searching and continuous patrolling on highways.
The policemen along with plain clothes personnel have also been deployed at Railway stations as well as buses and coaches terminals of the district with search of hotels and guest houses.
