The LHC chief justice designate, Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah and other judges attended the ceremony held here at the LHC judges lounge.
Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah presented souvenir and bouquet to the Chief Justice on his formal send-off. Registrar, Tariq Iftikhar Ahmad, LHC officers and court staff were also present on the occasion.
Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan had taken oath as 44th Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court on November 6,2015. He was elevated to the Lahore High Court on September 15, 2009. He was confirmed as a Judge of the Lahore High Court on May 11, 2011.
