Joint efforts sought to meet challenges: Shaukat

Shaukat Aziz said that he would work with the co-operation of the party (PML) leaders and colleagues, and will strive to overcome all challenges the country is facing at this juncture.
He said that Pakistan could grow like Malaysia, China and other Asian countries and the recent budget was an indication towards that direction.
Shaukat Aziz was talking to newsmen at the residence of nominated Prime Minister for interim arrangement, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.
He said that Insha-Allah, the country would grow and achieve its goals. Pakistan has many challenges and we all have to work together to meet these challenges, he maintained.
"We have to go ahead together and achieve many targets for the country", proposed Premier said.
At the occasion, Shujaat Hussain said that Shaukat Aziz is best suited for the office of Prime Minister and after the fulfilment of constitutional requirement, he would take over his responsibilities of the head of the government.
He said that all the decisions were being taken with consensus among the party ranks.
Shujaat said that he would work according to his self-conscious until Shaukat Aziz gets elected as MNA and takes over. He said Shaukat Aziz would be able to win election from anywhere in Pakistan.
He expressed hope that the country and party (PML) would make imminent developments under the leadership of Aziz.
