The hot spell continued in the entire area around Nawabshah as temperature further increased to 47.5 degree centigrade on Saturday.
A number of patients of sunstroke including children were brought to hospitals for treatment.
Scorching winds continued blowing all the daylong and power supply continued to play hide and seek in Nawabshah and the suburb towns and villages.
