Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 84,388 tonnes of cargo including 57,526 tonnes import and 26,862 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Thursday.
The cargo comprised of 49,607 tonnes dry and 34,781 tonnes liquid cargo.
Eight ships namely MH Thamrin, Kota Teguh, Astor, Banga Barta, Johat, Nur Yan Bu, Apl Jakarta and Bow De Rich sailed out to sea during the report period.
Eight vessels viz Sinar Bintan, Hyundai Advance, Corinthiakos, Tiger Ocean, Calypson, Odigitra, Le Rong and Al-Maqwa are currently at the berths.
Three ships namely Kota Sejati, Fjord Champion and Tiger Ocean expected to sail on Thursday, while two vessels viz Safmarine Pakistan and Al-Maqwa are expected to sail on Friday.
CV Safmarine Pakistan due to arrive on Thursday, while three vessels viz Uni Tank, Kota Intan and Sadan Kaptanoglu are due to arrive on Friday.

The cargo comprised of 6,999 tonnes chemicals; 4,400 tonnes seeds; 10,690 tonnes coal and 24,514 tonnes containerised cargo.
Container vessel Fabian Schulte sailed out to sea on Thursday morning.
Oil tanker Chemroad Vega is currently at the outer anchorage.

Three vessels viz Safmarine Pakistan, Eurydice and Al-Manakh due to arrive on Thursday, while another ship Keefan with diesel oil is due to arrive on Friday.
