US exporters sell corn

Private exporters reported the sale of 115,000 tonnes of US corn for delivery to Mexico during the 2004/05 marketing year, the Agriculture Department said on Monday.
The corn marketing year opens on September 1. By law, exporters must report promptly the sale of 100,000 tonnes or more of a commodity to the same destination in a single day. Sales of smaller amounts are reported on a weekly basis.
