Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 73,632 tonnes of cargo including 49,936 tonnes import and 23,696 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Monday.
The cargo comprised of 20,989 tonnes dry and 52,643 tonnes liquid cargo.
Five ships namely Dong He, Ocean Star Light, Asian Pegasus, Banglar Mamata and Tamyra sailed out to sea during the report period.
Four vessels viz Asian Pegasus, Mir Emad, Global Prosperity and Warbah are currently at the berths.
MV Gulf Fortune expected to sail on Monday, while three vessels viz Mir Emad, Hanjin Penang and Warbah are expected to sail on Tuesday.
Two ships namely Hanjin Penang and Kota Teguh due to arrive on Monday, while eight vessels viz Bow De Rich, Tai He, MT Swat, Astor, Sinar Bintan, Apl Jakarta, Kota Sejati and MH Thamrin are due to arrive on Tuesday.

The cargo comprised of 8,424 tonnes chemicals; 16,555 tonnes fuel oil, 5,414 tonnes coal and 34,850 tonnes containerised cargo.
Two vessels viz Marivia and Sorena sailed out to sea on Monday morning, while two more ships namely Caspium and Bow Leopard are expected to sail on the same day afternoon.
A total of three vessels viz Chardin, Ecoref-I and New Baroness are currently at the outer anchorage.
Four ships namely Chardin, Yanaseni, Ecoref-I and New Baroness due to take berths on Monday.
